The Air Jordan XI Concord might be the illest basketball sneaker of all-time. The white canvas paired with black patent leather is on some James Bond Tuxedo shit and was the perfect look for Jordan’s first full season back in the NBA. Jordan was on point again and lead the Bulls to a 72-10 record. Chicago won their fourth NBA title in six seasons, defeating the Seattle Supersonics in the 1996 Finals.

These sneakers blew my mind when they were first re-issued in 2001 and marked my first encounters with Niketalk, eBay, and one of the early websites for Air Jordans; Shoetrends.com. Here are some original ads for the shoe from 1996 along with a few images of Jordan wearing them.
